I thought this was cool, so here it is in no particular order at all.

1. Why I can't seem to understand / The time, the place, and who I am / Define a way to stay alive / It's like I'm living a lie
2. And as the lion slaughters man / I am the wolf, and you're the lamb
3. Look straight ahead, there's nothing left to see / What's done is done, this life has got it's hold on me / Just let it go, what now can never be
4. What do you fear most in the world? / The possibility that...love..is not enough
5. In cold ceremonial perfection / more radiant than the sum of suns / with each and every attribute / of animal, machine and man
6. Mention this to me / Mention something, mention anything / and watch the weather change
7. As below, so above and beyond, I imagine / Drawn outside the lines of reason / Push the envelope / Watch it bend
8. Shall we dare the dragon / Merciless he's poisoning our hearts / Our hearts
9. So use it and prove it / Remove this whirling of sadness
10. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end
11. How comes it's possible / I wish there was a way / I feel so invincible / I'm the statue made of clay
12. There on the battlefield he stands / Down on the battlefield he's lost / And on the battlefield it ends
13. Gather the faithful and propose a toast / To the epoch of indifference
14. Life is a waterfall / We drink from the river / Then we turn around and put up our walls
15. Slowly in fear / The dark lord appears / Welcome to my lands / You shall be damned
16. If everything could ever feel this real forever / If anything could ever be this good again
17. The razors and the dying roses / Plead I don't leave you alone
18 . So boundless I feel / And boundless all my fears
19.
Returning of the miracles / It's my own requiem / Is the script already written / Jester's tears I cry
20. Come out upon my seas / Cursed missed opportunities / Am I a part of the cure? / Or am I part of the disease?

Wow.

Sunday, July 27, 2003

Well, seeing as I haven't posted in a while, I thought I'd post. Also, I'm at the forum. In the gaming lab, where every other computer is being used for CS. A sad, sad thing. It's the first day, and so far it looks pretty cool, although we haven't actually done any of the stuff we're going to be doing. You know. I got me ps2 working, so there's some gaming action going on there, and the food here's really good.

In other news, I've started to write a client (specifically for dmud, and although it will work with other muds, the special features won't), mostly for the purpose of learning sockets. Although to do all the features I want to I'll have to relearn file i/o, but that's no big deal and I should probably relearn it anyway. Fun. Kenneth and Jim are testing it, so I'll actually know what to fix. Nothing much other than that, so I'm off.

Oooooh. Blogger's all pretty like. Yay for Google.

Anyway, school's over. This summer's gonna be fun, methinks.
First is Jim's party, today. Can't wait for that - it seems that whenever I'm stressed/bored/whatever his house makes it all better. A good thing.
You know, I think I need a new template for my blog. This one's getting old.
Anyway, then's the stupid whitewater rafting trip. I really don't want to go for a two day camping trip on the side, but oh well.
Third, NYLF. This is going to be mad fun, I can't wait I can't wait I can't wait. 10 days of big companies, games, computers, site visits, and geeks.

Oh man.

And that's just about it, but I think I'll be heading up to New York sometime next month to meet my aunt and Tawny. Fun.
Other than that, me and Krystle are no longer going out (but still on talking terms, which is a Good Thing), MStueben's class roxored, as did RLatimer's. In fact, here's some whorage for my supercomp page. Fractals are pretty.

And with that, I'm off to play games and finish letters to get me some moolah for laptoping. G'bye.

So there I was, sitting on my computer, talking to some people. All of a sudden, Eric says something about blogs and how nobody ever posts. So I said to myself, 'You know, I really need to post something. In fact, I'll do that now.' So then I went to my Mozilla window (Mozilla's good like that - you only need one window open, because of tabs), opened up a new tab, and typed in www.blogger.com. I wasn't too sure if the cookies keeping me logged in were still there, but they turned out to be. Then I clicked on Life, the Universe, and Everything, that being the title of my blog. Once the post page loaded up, I started typing this. With that, my aspirations have been fulfilled.

And that, Sir, is all I have to say.

Wheee. Wheee, wheee, wheee.

Ace Ventura is funny stuff. So's Spaceballs. Good stuff.

Gah, nothing really important to say. Dunno why I'm posting.

Ooo, Mary and Tim. You know. Yeah.

Well, g'night.

I think a simple dance of joy would sum up the last two weeks.

You see, today was most excellent. Left here at around 1:00, went to pick up Krystle and Martha (who was at Krystle's). Went to Ben's house. Then me, Krystle, and Martha went to Jeremy's house. Then Krystle's dad picked us up and dropped me off here at around 7 or 7:30. And that was my day. Amazing, it was. Yesterday was awesome. Thursday was also amazing, as I got to stay after, not go to training, and hang out w/ Krystle. Wednesday was on par with friday. Tuesday wasn't all that great. Monday was good. And same with the week before, minus the tuesday-being-bad-ness, and plus catch me if you can.

And about catch me if you can. It's a really good movie. In fact, it was good enough to completely nullify DeCaprio. I didn't even realize it was him until after the movie was over. I mean, I knew it was him, but it somehow got erased from my memory while the movie was playing. Good stuff.

On a I-was-at-Jeremy's-house-earlier note, I really want a lifesized cardboard cutout of Micheal Jordan. That would rock.

Yay.

Today was fun. Mad fun. A very good, good day.

Well, not much else to say. G'bye.
